About Tony
Tony Huynh built a practical path to the law that mixes technical training, business study and hands-on public service. He earned a B.A. in Management Information Systems from the University of Lynchburg in 2011. He then completed a J.D. at Elon University School of Law in 2014 and returned to Elon for an MBA in 2016.
Early in his legal training Huynh took on a range of internships that exposed him to different sides of public law. He worked in 2012 at Tomlin Law Offices and with Church World Service in Greensboro. In 2013 he served as a student lawyer at the Humanitarian Immigration Clinic and held internships at the Guilford County District Attorney’s Office and the Office of the City Attorney in Greensboro.
Those experiences were complemented by work outside the courtroom. In 2015 he worked as a contract Vietnamese interpreter for Language Resources, a role that required precise communication across cultural and legal lines. In 2018 he became the owner of Polish Me Pretty Nail Spa, giving him first-hand experience in running a small business and handling its practical day-to-day legal and regulatory questions.
He is licensed to practice in North Carolina and holds membership in the North Carolina Bar Association. He now serves as the managing lawyer of his own firm, the Law Office of Tony Huynh, PLLC. His practice draws on the mix of legal clinic work, municipal and prosecutorial internships, language services and small-business ownership that make up his background.
Colleagues and clients see a lawyer who has moved fluidly between public service roles and private enterprise. He combines courtroom exposure from his internships with the operational perspective of a business owner. That combination shapes how he approaches client problems and the practical solutions he proposes.
Huynh continues to practice in North Carolina and runs his firm from a practice that reflects both his legal training and his business experience. He concentrates on serving individuals and small businesses in the state.
