About Daniel A.

Daniel A. Harris practices law in North Carolina and in federal courts across the state. He built his legal training at two local institutions. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010 and completed his Juris Doctor at Elon University School of Law in 2013.

While in law school he spent time in court and in firm offices. In 2011 he interned at Clifford Clendenin & O Hale, LLP and served as an intern to the Honorable R. Stuart Albright. Those early experiences exposed him to trial work and court procedures.

After law school he joined Clifford Clendenin & O Hale, LLP as an associate in 2013. He worked on a range of matters there and handled appearances in state and federal court. He also began participating in bar and advocacy organizations the same year, aligning his practice more clearly with litigation and courtroom work.

In 2018 he became a partner at Clifford & Harris, PLLC. The move placed him in a leadership role within a smaller firm structure. As partner he has been involved in case strategy, client counseling, and courtroom advocacy. He has continued to appear in both state courts and federal district courts in North Carolina.

Harris is active in the professional community. He has been a member of the North Carolina Bar Association since 2013 and belongs to the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. He is also a member of the Greensboro Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Those affiliations reflect regular engagement with colleagues who practice litigation in the region.

He is licensed to practice in the State of North Carolina and holds admission to appellate and federal courts, including the Fourth Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts of North Carolina. His courtroom work spans state and federal matters and includes both trial and appellate appearances.

He currently practices at Clifford & Harris, PLLC, handling matters in North Carolina and in the U.S. District Courts for the Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts of North Carolina and before the Fourth Circuit.
