About Tony
Tony Andre arrived at law from an unexpected direction. He began his undergraduate studies in music at the University of Oklahoma, earning a Bachelor of Music in 2002. He then shifted to the study of law and completed his J.D. at the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2007. The combination of a conservatory-style undergraduate education and a traditional legal training shaped an approach that values both discipline and careful listening.
He launched his legal career in Miami as an associate at Liebler Gonzalez and Portuondo PL in 2007. The early years were spent in trial preparation and client counsel. In 2010 he moved to Jones Walker LLP and served as special counsel, taking on more complex assignments and working alongside senior lawyers on multi-jurisdictional matters. Those roles exposed him to litigation and transactional work across state lines.
In 2014 he left the large-firm model to start his own practice. He became managing shareholder of Andre Law Office P.A., where he has overseen the firm’s operations and directed client services. Leading a small firm required him to handle both the legal work and the business side of running a practice. He describes the tradeoffs plainly: more control over client relationships, and more responsibility for outcomes and administration.
Andre is admitted to practice in Florida and New York. He has taken part in professional groups for networking and professional development. He joined the Haitian Lawyers Association in 2017 and became active in the Florida Lawyers Network in 2019. Those memberships reflect an ongoing connection to communities of lawyers across the state and beyond.
Clients and colleagues say he brings an organized, straightforward approach to casework. He balances attention to detail with a practical view of what a client needs to resolve a problem. He also draws on his early years in music when he talks about timing and rhythm in litigation strategy and negotiation tactics.
He maintains his office under the Andre Law Office P.A. name and continues to accept matters in both Florida and New York. He currently heads the firm and handles a range of matters for individuals and businesses in those jurisdictions.
