About Dani
Dani Birman moved from Florida classrooms into courtrooms over the span of a decade. She entered law after completing undergraduate studies at Florida State University, then earned her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2017.
At Florida State she studied sociology and political science, receiving a B.A. in 2014. The combination gave her a grounding in both social systems and public institutions. She went on to the Levin College of Law, where she completed her law degree in 2017.
While in law school Birman gained hands-on experience through internships and externships. In 2015 she served as an extern for Inspired Review, LLC. That same year she worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Spencer Eig, an opportunity that exposed her to the practical workings of the courtroom and judicial decision-making.
After finishing law school she joined Chepenik Trushin LLP and became a partner in 2017. The move put her in private practice within Florida. She is a current member of The Florida Bar and carries an active membership there.
Her work has involved typical responsibilities of firm practice: client counseling, legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and appearing before judges. Those tasks reflect the blend of experience she built during her internships and subsequent firm work. Colleagues describe her approach as straightforward and attentive to fact and procedure.
Birman handles matters that arise under Florida law and spends much of her time preparing cases for resolution in state forums. She remains based in Florida and continues to practice at Chepenik Trushin LLP, where her current practice focuses on matters in the state of Florida.
