About Tami R.
Tami R. Wolfe earned her law degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1991 after completing a Bachelor of Arts at Florida Atlantic University in 1988. She entered the legal profession at a time when the landscape was changing for women in law. Her early years in practice were shaped by classroom instruction and the practical demands of a busy courtroom schedule that followed graduation.
She built a steady career that led to partnership. In 2015 she became a partner at Kalis, Kleiman & Wolfe. That move marked a transition from earlier roles into firm leadership and client-facing responsibility. Colleagues describe her as methodical in case preparation and exacting about deadlines. She has worked in both state and federal venues and adapted to shifts in procedure and evidence rules over the course of three decades.
Wolfe is admitted to practice in Florida and in the U.S. courts that serve the region. Her admissions include the 11th Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She also holds membership in The Florida Bar. Those credentials allow her to represent clients on a range of procedural fronts and in multi-jurisdictional matters that require courtroom familiarity at both the trial and appellate levels.
Her professional activities extend beyond the courtroom. She is an active member of the American Association for Justice and the American Bar Association. Locally, she participates in the Broward County Bar Association and Broward County Women Lawyers Association. She also belongs to the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. These memberships reflect ongoing engagement with bar work, continuing legal education and local legal networks rather than public office or bar leadership posts.
Wolfes work is informed by long practice and practical experience. She emphasizes careful case assessment, evidence organization and clear written advocacy. She has handled matters that required coordination across different courts and attention to procedural timing. Clients and peers note her preference for preparing thoroughly before court appearances.
She practices at Kalis, Kleiman & Wolfe and maintains active memberships in several professional organizations that support trial practice and women in the law. Her current practice focuses on matters in the federal and state courts where she is admitted.
