About Micah
Micah Longo built his legal foundations in the classroom and in court. He earned a Bachelor of Science in History from Shippensburg University in 2003. He went on to receive his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University in 2006. Those years set the course for a career that moved quickly from clerkship to firm leadership.
He spent his early legal years as a law clerk at Reifkind & Thompson, P.A., gaining hands-on experience with case preparation and court procedures. After passing into private practice he joined Cornell & Associates, P.A. as an associate in 2008. That role expanded his responsibilities and exposed him to a broader docket of civil matters.
In 2012 he became the managing lawyer at The Longo Firm. As managing lawyer he shifted into firm administration while continuing to handle cases. The change brought a different daily rhythm. He balanced client work with supervising staff, overseeing filings, and setting litigation strategy.
Longo maintains active membership in several professional organizations. He belongs to the American Association for Justice, the Weston Bar Association, and the Broward County Bar Association. Those affiliations keep him connected to peers and developments in Florida law.
Across his career Longo has combined courtroom experience with client counseling. His résumé traces a steady progression from a supporting role as a clerk to front-line responsibilities as a managing lawyer. He handles casework, prepares filings, and manages litigation logistics. His practice is rooted in Florida, where he appears in state courts and works with local colleagues and experts.
Colleagues describe him as practical in approach. He tends to break down complex matters into discrete steps. He is methodical in preparing for hearings and trials, and he prioritizes clear communication with clients. He keeps the firm focused on case management and timely responses to opposing counsel.
He leads The Longo Firm in its daily operations and in handling litigation matters. He continues to practice in Florida, concentrating on litigation and client representation in state courts.
