About Cassandra

Cassandra Castellano-Lombard built her legal foundation at the University of Miami. She earned a Bachelor of Science in 2006 and returned to the same campus to complete her Juris Doctor in 2010. Those years in Miami shaped a practical approach to law and a familiarity with the legal landscape of South Florida.

After law school, she began her career in the region. Early on she handled matters that required close attention to procedure and client communication. She learned to draft pleadings, prepare motions and manage deadlines. Over time she acquired routine courtroom experience and worked on disputes that moved through discovery and, when necessary, trial preparation.

Her path led to Gordon & Doner in Davie, where she practices today. Colleagues describe her as steady under pressure. Clients who work with her encounter someone who prioritizes clarity and timely updates. She balances client work with the daily demands of a busy firm environment.

In the office she handles a mix of tasks that span client counseling, document drafting and court appearances. She prepares case files, coordinates with experts when cases require it, and takes depositions. The work requires both detailed legal research and the ability to explain complex points to nonlawyers. She has applied those skills across multiple matters on behalf of individuals and businesses.

Outside of casework, she has engaged in the professional routine that many attorneys follow: attending continuing legal education programs, staying current on changes in state rules and procedures, and maintaining relationships within the local bar community. That steady professional engagement helps her anticipate practical issues clients face when pursuing or defending claims in Florida.

She combines an academic grounding from the University of Miami with practical courtroom and office experience gained over more than a decade of practice. Colleagues say she is methodical in preparation and straightforward in client conversations. Her approach emphasizes clear options and realistic assessments rather than expansive promises.

She now practices at Gordon & Doner in Davie, where her current work centers on addressing the legal needs of the firm’s clients through client counseling, litigation support and courtroom representation.
