About Samantha
Samantha McBride earned her B.A. from the University of California, Riverside in 2011 and completed her J.D. at Chapman University Fowler School of Law in 2014. She joined the State Bar of California the same year. Those academic years set the stage for a career concentrated in family law and courtroom practice.
Her early legal work combined clinic training and clerking. In 2012 she served as a certified law student at the Bette and Wylie Aitken Family Protection Clinic and held a law clerk position with the Law Office of Frederick McBride. Those experiences gave her direct exposure to client interviewing and family-court pleadings. She later worked as a law clerk at the Legal Aid Society of Orange County in 2014, handling matters that often involved low-income clients and high-volume calendars.
After law school she began at Holstrom, Block & Parke, APLC, first as an intake specialist and then as an associate attorney. She remained at the firm through positions that included file clerk supervisor in 2017 and lawyer in 2014. Her time at Holstrom, Block & Parke involved both the administrative side of case management and courtroom appearances, providing a mix of client contact and litigation experience.
In 2019 she took on a leadership role as Assistant Managing Partner at Custody Queens, where she is identified as a family law attorney. She holds certification as a Certified Family Law Specialist from the California Board of Legal Specialization, a credential that reflects additional examination and practice standards in family law. Her membership record includes the State Bar of California, Orange County and Riverside county bar associations, the Orange County Young Lawyers Division, and the Family Law Section of the San Diego County Bar Association. She also maintains connections to local chambers of commerce and her Chapman Law alumni network.
McBride’s professional path shows steady movement from clinic work and legal aid into private practice and firm leadership. She has handled intake and file supervision duties, courtroom representation, and firm management responsibilities. Her certification and bar memberships underscore a sustained engagement with family law practice and the local legal community. She currently serves as Assistant Managing Partner at Custody Queens and maintains active participation in county and state bar organizations. Her practice concentrates on family law matters, including custody and related family-court proceedings.
