About Kristen A.
Kristen A. Holstrom earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing and Economics from Jacksonville University in 2003. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Trinity Law School in 2008. Those academic steps laid the groundwork for a legal career centered in California, where she has practiced since completing law school.
Her early legal work began in 2007 as a legal consultant for Morgan Drexen Legal Services. She moved into a clerkship the following year at Holstrom, Sissung, Marks & Anderson, a role that preceded her transition into lawyer and client-relations work at the same firm in 2011. That year marked a shift: she served both as Director of Client Relations and as a lawyer, roles that combined legal work and client management. Later in 2011 she joined Holstrom, Block & Parke, APLC as an associate lawyer. Over the next several years she assumed broader responsibilities and in 2016 became Assistant Managing Partner at Holstrom, Block & Parke, APLC.
Holstrom is a Certified Family Law Specialist through the California State Board of Legal Specialization. Her certification identifies a formal concentration in family law matters under state standards. She maintains professional ties in the region. Her memberships include the San Diego County Bar Association Family Law Section (2016 to present) and the Orange County Bar Association (2013 to present). She is a member of the Barristers Club of Riverside and the local Chamber of Commerce, both listed since 2014. Outside legal circles she has been involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters—Inland Empire since 2015 in an executive capacity.
Those threads — courtroom training, client-relations experience and specialty certification — shape the contours of her practice. At Holstrom, Block & Parke, APLC she has worked in roles that require both case work and oversight. The trajectory of her career shows movement from staff and consultancy positions into litigation and firm leadership. Her background in business marketing and economics also informs how she approaches case strategy and client communication. She is licensed to practice in California and remains active in local bar groups and community organizations. Her current practice focuses on family law matters.
