About Jeremy

Jeremy Roark studied economics before turning to law. He earned a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2005. He then attended the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, receiving his J.D. in 2008. While in law school he was recognized as a Wayne Veatch Memorial Scholar.

After law school Roark began building a practice in California. Early work in private firms gave him hands-on courtroom and client experience. In 2012 he worked at the Law Office of Catherine A. Schwartz. Two years later he joined the Law Offices of Heather Cullen. In 2015 he was a lawyer at the Law Offices of H. William Edgar. Those positions provided a steady progression of responsibilities and exposure to contested family matters, settlement negotiations and courtroom procedure.

By 2019 Roark was a lawyer at Holstrom, Block and Parke, APLC. His resume lists that firm as his current office. Over time he pursued formal certification in family law. The California Board of Legal Specialization designated him a Certified Family Law Specialist, a credential that signals a sustained practice and examination in that area of law.

Roark’s career path shows an emphasis on family law practice. He has worked on cases that involve divorce, child custody and financial matters that arise when families separate. He has experience in both negotiated settlements and litigated matters. Court appearances, client counseling and drafting pleadings are recurring elements of his work life. He has moved through a series of small and mid-size practices, which has kept him engaged in day-to-day advocacy and client contact rather than a single administrative role.

Colleagues describe Roark as someone who blends practical courtroom experience with steady case management. He draws on his undergraduate training in economics when handling financial aspects of family law cases. The scholarship he received in law school is a mark of early promise, and his specialist certification reflects later professional development.

Roark is licensed to practice law in California and remains active in the state bar environment. He continues to work at Holstrom, Block and Parke, APLC, where his practice centers on family law matters and related litigation.

He currently practices at Holstrom, Block and Parke, APLC, focusing on family law matters.
