About Marynelle
Marynelle Hardee earned her law degree from the University of Florida, receiving her J.D. in 1991. She moved into practice in the early 1990s and built a career that blends courtroom experience with court administration. That mix has shaped how she approaches civil practice and court procedure.
Hardee began her career as an associate at the Law Office of Robert A. Rush in 1992. She spent the next several years in private practice before shifting into public service at the Alachua County Clerk of Court’s Office. There she served in a series of roles that included legal counsel, civil department manager and civil court director. Those positions placed her at the center of the county’s civil case processing and court record systems.
Her time with the clerk’s office extended across multiple stretches. Records show she held the legal counsel and civil department manager roles in 1998 and again in 2006, later also performing duties as civil court director. The combination of hands-on legal work and administrative oversight gave her a detailed familiarity with filing systems, case flow management and the practical demands placed on litigants and clerical staff alike.
In 2006 Hardee opened the Law Office of Marynelle Hardee, P.A. That step returned her to private practice while maintaining ties to the county courthouse. In 2017 she accepted a post as Assistant Director of Court Operations in the Court Administrator’s Office for the Eighth Judicial Circuit of Florida. The role expanded her administrative portfolio and required coordination across multiple county stakeholders and judges’ chambers.
She established Hardee Legal, PLLC in 2018. The firm reflects the two strands of her background: civil litigation practice and procedural know-how born of years managing court operations. Her admissions include the Florida bar and the U.S. Court for the Northern District of Florida, allowing her to handle cases at the state and federal trial levels.
Colleagues describe Hardee as someone who prefers practical solutions. She tends to break complex procedural issues into manageable steps. That approach has informed both her courtroom work and her efforts to streamline civil case processing when overseeing court departments.
Today she continues to operate Hardee Legal, PLLC, where she handles civil matters and draws on decades of experience in court administration and civil practice. Her current practice concentrates on civil litigation and court procedure matters.
