About Casey C
Casey C Harrison began a path in law that was preceded by deep study at the University of Florida. Harrison earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology in 2006, then returned to Gainesville for graduate work, completing a Master’s in Sports Management and a Juris Doctor in 2010. The dual graduate degrees set an academic tone that carried into the early stages of a legal career.
Harrison entered the legal profession immediately after law school. In 2010 Harrison served as a law clerk for the Third Judicial Circuit of Florida. The following year brought a position on the appellate side of the bench. In 2011 Harrison joined the Florida Second District Court of Appeal as a senior central staff lawyer. Those early roles provided day-to-day exposure to trial court records, appellate filings and court procedure.
In 2013 Harrison moved into private practice as a partner at Dreyfus Harrison, P.A. That step marked a shift from court service to client representation. In 2020 Harrison helped establish Harrison Estate Law, P.A., where Harrison is a partner. The move to a firm bearing the family name reflected both a change in structure and an emphasis on areas tied to estate matters.
Harrison’s career shows a steady progression from clerkship to appellate staff work to law firm leadership. The appellate experience offers a background in complex legal writing and procedural rules. Time in private firms adds client-side skills and case management. Colleagues describe Harrison as concise and pragmatic in approach, preferring straightforward legal analysis over elaborate theory.
Throughout the career arc, education and early court work have informed practice choices. Harrison handles matters that flow from estate planning, probate administration and trust issues. The practice includes drafting estate documents, advising executors and trustees, and addressing disputes that arise after a death. Harrison also works on guardianship matters and related elder law concerns when those issues intersect with estate administration.
Harrison maintains a presence in Florida courts and keeps professional ties to local legal networks. The combination of courtroom familiarity and law firm experience shapes how cases are managed and how clients are advised. Harrison’s office operates from Harrison Estate Law, P.A., where clients consult on wills, trusts, probate, and administration matters.
Harrison currently practices in Florida, focusing on estate planning, probate and trust administration matters.
