About Itasca
Itasca Greagor took a deliberate path into law. She completed a B.S. in Legal Studies at the University of Central Florida in 2000. She returned to UCF for an M.S. in Criminal Justice, finishing in 2008. A year later she earned her J.D. from Florida State University College of Law.
Her early legal work placed her inside state systems that touch family lives. In 2013 she served as a child support enforcement lawyer for the Florida Department of Revenue, working in the Florida office of the Lawyer General. That position involved enforcing support orders and handling administrative and court-related matters tied to family stability. The following year she joined Three Rivers Legal Services, Inc. as a family law staff lawyer. There she represented clients in a range of domestic relations matters and handled cases for people with limited resources.
She moved into private practice in 2019 and has worked at Itasca Legal PLLC since then. Her practice draws on the mix of public and nonprofit experience she accumulated earlier in her career. She represents individuals in family law matters and handles bankruptcy filings. She appears in Florida state courts and is admitted to practice in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Florida and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Colleagues and community groups see a lawyer who navigates both administrative systems and courtroom processes. Her membership in local bar organizations includes a leadership role as treasurer of the Josiah T. Walls Bar Association. That position puts her on the administrative side of bar activities and on a board that organizes programming and supports member services.
Her training — from undergraduate legal studies through a graduate degree in criminal justice and a law degree — mirrors the variety of matters she handles. She has experience with child support enforcement, family court proceedings, and bankruptcy petitions. She draws on that background when counseling clients on options, filing necessary paperwork, and representing them in hearings.
She continues to practice from Itasca Legal PLLC. She maintains admissions in Florida and before the Northern and Middle District bankruptcy courts and manages a caseload that includes family law and bankruptcy matters.
