About Mary E.
Mary E. Gaiser earned her J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law in 2016 after completing a B.A. in history and English literature at the University of South Florida in 2012. She combined a liberal arts background with legal training during her years at UNH, where clinic and internship work formed a large part of her practical education.
Her early legal experience began while she was still a student. In 2014 she interned in the Office of the City Solicitor. The following year she worked as a student intern at the UNH School of Law Intellectual Property Clinic and took a placement at the Merrimack County Lawyer’s Office. In 2016 she served as a legal intern at New Hampshire Legal Assistance, gaining direct exposure to client advocacy and the procedures of civil legal services.
After law school she moved between practice and compliance roles. In 2016 she worked at McKittrick Law Offices and took a post as a compliance and regulatory officer for Complete Pharmacy and Medical Solutions, LLC. That regulatory role gave her experience in the intersection of law and health services. In 2017 she returned to private practice at Shaunna L. Browne Law, PLLC and also worked as a legal assistant at the University of New Hampshire Institute for Health Policy and Practice, a role that linked legal questions to health policy issues.
Her later career has been in private practice. She was listed as counsel at Bianco Professional Association in 2020 and joined Cohen & Winters, PLLC in 2021. Across those positions she handled typical law firm responsibilities and client matters consistent with small-firm practice in New Hampshire. She maintains professional ties in the state and is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association.
Colleagues note that her work has spanned regulatory compliance, health-policy related legal issues, student clinic intellectual property matters, and civil legal aid experience. Those varied positions reflect a practical approach to legal problem solving rather than a single narrow specialty. She practices law in New Hampshire and her current work includes civil matters and regulatory compliance at Cohen & Winters, PLLC.
