About Lindsey

Lindsey Davis earned her Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law in 2015. She arrived at law school after undergraduate studies and took part in the routine grind of legal education. Her time in Nashville coincided with a period of steady growth in Tennessee’s legal community.

While still in law school, Davis spent a summer as a judicial intern in 2014 for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. That experience exposed her to federal court procedures and the cadence of litigation behind the bench. It also gave her early, practical insight into motion practice and courtroom decorum.

After graduation she moved into contract legal work. In 2015 she worked as a contract lawyer through Counsel on Call. The following year she took on a contract role with Reist and Maples, PLC. Those positions involved short-term engagements on client files and helped her develop adaptability across a range of matters.

In 2017 she joined Digby Family Law, PLC as an associate. That role placed her inside a practice devoted to family law issues. She handled client interviewing, drafted pleadings and participated in hearings. The associate position marked a shift from contract assignments to sustained representation and deeper file management responsibilities.

Davis has been a member of the Tennessee Bar Association since 2015. She also joined the America Inns of Court in 2017 and remains a member. Those affiliations keep her connected to peers and to continuing legal education offerings in Tennessee.

Her practice experience spans both litigation support and client-facing family law work. She has moved between short-term contract gigs and longer associate roles, which has given her familiarity with courtroom procedures and client advocacy. Colleagues describe her as attentive to case details and steady under deadline pressure.

Davis holds licensure to practice in Tennessee and has built a practice centered on resolving domestic relations matters. She limits her work to matters handled in state courts and federal matters when appropriate. Her day-to-day work combines drafting court papers, preparing clients for hearings and negotiating settlements.

She is based in Tennessee and continues to practice law there, focusing on family law matters.
