About Alex

Alex Lovan earned his J.D. from Nashville School of Law in 2022. He completed his legal education in Tennessee and entered the state’s legal community soon after graduation. His time at law school laid the groundwork for practice, emphasizing practical skills that he carried into his early career.

He joined Widrig Law PLLC as an associate after finishing law school. In that role he has handled case preparation, legal research, drafting pleadings and client correspondence, and support for courtroom proceedings. Colleagues describe his day-to-day work as centered on producing clear legal analysis and practical documents for use in litigation and other proceedings.

Since 2022 he has maintained an active professional membership that began the same year he graduated. That affiliation has accompanied his move from law student to practicing attorney. He uses the professional network to stay current on procedural changes and local practice norms in Tennessee.

Lovan works in Tennessee, where he is admitted to practice. His work requires familiarity with state procedural rules and the local courts. He spends substantial time on research and writing, preparing memoranda and motions, and supporting more senior attorneys at trial and hearing preparation. He also meets regularly with clients to gather facts, explain next steps and outline options available under applicable state law.

He joined a team environment at Widrig Law, where associates collaborate on complex files and share responsibility for meeting deadlines and advancing client matters. That collaborative setting exposes him to a range of dispute-resolution tasks, including drafting discovery requests, responding to opposing filings, and participating in settlement discussions when appropriate.

As a recent graduate and practicing associate, Lovan continues to build courtroom experience and deepen his familiarity with Tennessee practice. He balances client-facing work with behind-the-scenes preparation that helps cases move forward. He currently practices as an associate at Widrig Law PLLC, handling matters arising under Tennessee law.
