Laura C Dove built a legal career that begins in the classroom and settles into the family courtroom. She earned a B.S. from the University of Northern Iowa in 1996 and continued her studies at George Mason University School of Law, receiving her J.D. in 2003. Her first position after law school was as an associate at the Law Office of Betty A. Thompson, Ltd., where she started in 2003. That early period gave her hands-on experience in client representation and courtroom procedure. In 2012 she became a partner at Mullett Dove Meacham & Bradley, a role that expanded her responsibilities to include supervising cases and mentoring younger lawyers.
Dove’s professional activity is centered in Virginia. She works across a range of Northern Virginia jurisdictions, including Arlington County, the City of Falls Church, Loudoun County, the City of Alexandria, Fairfax County, Prince William County, and Stafford County. Her caseload commonly brings her into juvenile and domestic relations settings as well as family law proceedings.
