About Garrett P. Simulcik

Garrett P. Simulcik Jr. built his legal foundation at Boston College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy in 1999. He went on to complete his J.D. at Seton Hall University in 2004. Those years on campus shaped a practical approach to problem solving. They also placed him on a path to trial work and client advocacy.

He began practicing law soon after law school. By 2010 he had opened his own firm, the Law Office of Garrett P. Simulcik Jr. That move put him in the role of both litigator and managing attorney. Running a small firm required him to handle intake, strategy and courtroom appearances. He maintained a steady local practice while building relationships across county and state lines.

In 2022 he took on an of counsel role at Bagolie Friedman Injury Lawyers. The position allowed him to collaborate on complex injury matters and remain active in his own private practice. He splits time between case work and mentoring younger lawyers who come to him for guidance on litigation tactics and courtroom procedure. Colleagues describe him as practical in approach; he favors clear preparation and straightforward advocacy in the courtroom.

He is licensed to practice in both New York and New Jersey. His professional memberships reflect a long-standing engagement with the bar and local legal organizations. He has held membership in the New York County Lawyers Association since 2005 and in Phi Alpha Delta since 2004. He joined the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Hudson County Bar Association in 2010 and continues in both groups. Those ties keep him plugged into continuing education and local legal networks.

Over the course of his career he has handled a range of civil cases, with repeated work in personal injury matters. He has managed cases from initial client contact through settlement negotiation and trial. He is known for methodical case preparation and routine courtroom appearances in state trial courts. He handles discovery, evidentiary motions and jury trials when cases proceed that far.

Today he maintains his solo practice while serving of counsel at Bagolie Friedman Injury Lawyers. He balances courtroom work and case strategy across matters in New York and New Jersey. His current practice concentrates on personal injury and related civil litigation.
