About Kristofher
Kristofher Beralo built his academic foundation around two parallel tracks: law and business. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University–Newark in 2012, then continued his studies at Loyola University New Orleans, where he completed both an MBA and a Juris Doctor in 2016. Those degrees overlapped in time and shaped a practice that blends technical legal work and attention to financial detail.
He entered legal practice soon after finishing law school. Early roles included positions at the Law Office of Jason Williams and the Law Office of Meneses and Rosades, where he handled client matters and learned the day-to-day work of a small firm. In 2016 he worked at the Law Offices of James R. Lisa, Esq., and in 2018 he operated under his own name as the Law Office of Kristofher Beralo. In 2019 he became a partner at Beralo & Michael, LLC. The move to partnership marked a shift toward leading client engagements and managing firm responsibilities while continuing to represent individual and business clients.
Beralo is admitted to practice in New Jersey. He also holds certification to practice before the United States Tax Court, a credential that signals experience in federal tax dispute procedures. Over the years his practice has included matters that intersect business, tax and individual client concerns. He has represented clients in routine filings and in contested matters that require familiarity with tax rules and procedures.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in approaching casework and attentive to procedural detail. His background in business bolsters his ability to outline the financial aspects of legal problems, and his tax court credential provides a route for clients facing federal tax disputes. He has handled matters across several small firm environments, gaining experience in client counseling, pleadings and administrative practice.
At Beralo & Michael, LLC he carries responsibilities common to partners: supervising client matters, advising on legal strategy and helping oversee day-to-day operations. He practices primarily in New Jersey, handling matters that involve tax and related legal issues. He currently focuses his practice on tax matters, including representation before the United States Tax Court.
