About Elissa
Elissa Krell earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2000 after completing a B.A. at the State University of New York at Binghamton. She arrived in law school at the turn of the century and finished at a moment when litigation practice was beginning to shift with new technologies. The degrees provided the formal training that underpins her legal work.
She is admitted to practice in New York and is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. Those federal admissions permit her to file and argue cases in two of the region’s busiest trial courts. She holds current memberships in professional associations that connect her to peers and to developments in court procedure and practice.
Krell is listed as a lawyer at The Bell Law Group. At the firm she works across the firm’s offices, contributing to matters that arise in both state and federal forums. Her background in New York practice and her federal admissions mean she can handle filings and appearances in district court when a client’s matter requires it. She prepares court submissions, participates in client consultations, and coordinates with colleagues on litigation strategy when cases move forward.
Her educational foundation and courtroom admissions shape the practical work she performs for clients. The combination of a New York law license and the ability to appear in the Eastern and Southern Districts gives her access to the full range of trial-level proceedings those courts handle. She practices out of The Bell Law Group’s multiple offices and represents clients in matters brought in New York state court and in federal court. She currently practices at The Bell Law Group, handling matters in both state and federal courts.
