About Andrea

Andrea Batres earned her law degree from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2010. She completed her legal studies after beginning law school in 2007 and left with a Juris Doctor that set the stage for a career based in New York. Her academic background included coursework typical of a generalist curriculum and practical training offered by the law school, experiences she later drew on in private practice.

After law school, Batres built her practice in New York. Over the years she has served in roles that culminated in her becoming a partner at The Bell Law Group. That role places her among the firm’s senior lawyers, where she shares responsibility for case strategy, client relations and the oversight of junior attorneys. Her work requires juggling trial preparation, negotiation and client counseling in matters handled by the firm.

Batres’s practice is conducted under New York jurisdiction. She represents clients across state-level matters and engages with both transactional and contentious legal processes as circumstances require. Her approach to work is pragmatic. She breaks complex problems into manageable parts and focuses on the procedural and factual steps that move a matter forward.

Colleagues describe her as someone who emphasizes clarity in legal writing and in court presentations. She spends time preparing evidence and briefing and expects the same attention from team members. Those routines shape how she manages cases and mentor associates. Batres also takes part in firm management tasks, contributing to staffing decisions and to developing internal procedures aimed at streamlining the firm’s workflow.

Outside of casework, she has maintained connections to the broader legal community in New York, attending seminars and contributing to discussions that concern the practice of law. She has not sought public office or an academic appointment, preferring to concentrate on the operational and client-facing aspects of private practice.

As of 2026, Andrea Batres is a partner at The Bell Law Group based in New York. She practices law in New York as a partner at The Bell Law Group.
