About David G.
David G. Moore began his legal path at Arizona State University, where he earned a B.A. in history in 1997. He continued his studies at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and received his J.D. in 2000. Those years laid a foundation in legal research and courtroom procedure that would shape his career.
He moved into public service early on, serving as an assistant prosecutor in Cass County and later in St. Joseph County, both in Michigan. He then spent time in private firms, working as an associate at Hettinger & Hettinger P.C. and as a lawyer at Donald Sappanos, P.C. In 2010 he launched Moore Advocacy Group. Six years later he formed David G. Moore P.C., expanding the business side of his practice while continuing to handle courtroom work.
Moore’s professional affiliations reflect a mix of local and broader memberships. He holds admissions with the Michigan State Bar and is listed as a member of the State Bar of Arizona since 2016. He also served on the board of directors for Wings of God Inc. from 2009 to 2012 and maintains other bar memberships dating back to 2001. Those ties have kept him connected to developments in practice and procedure across jurisdictions.
The arc of his work runs from prosecution to private advocacy. Time in county prosecutor’s offices gave him experience in case preparation, witness work and trial settings. His years in private practice put him on the business side of litigation and client counseling. Over time he has handled matters that required both courtroom presence and attention to case management and client communications.
Colleagues and former co-workers have known him as a lawyer who moves between public and private practice comfortably. He has overseen a small firm operation and handled the day-to-day demands of running an office while maintaining a caseload. That blend of responsibilities has shaped how he approaches client work and court appearances.
He currently practices at Moore Advocacy Group in Michigan, where his work centers on litigation and court representation in state matters.
