About Brad
Brad Rideout built a steady legal career in Arizona that moves from public service into private practice. He earned a B.A. in political science from Arizona State University in 2003 and completed his J.D. at Chapman University Fowler School of Law in 2006. Those academic years set the stage for work in county and municipal legal offices.
Fresh out of law school he joined the Mohave County Lawyer’s Office as a deputy county lawyer in 2006. The role put him into the day-to-day of government law. He handled matters that required balancing statutory rules with practical needs of county operations. After two years he shifted to municipal work.
In 2008 Rideout served as an assistant city lawyer in the City of Mesa Prosecutor’s Office. That post involved courtroom work and preparation of prosecutorial files. He gained frontline experience in city-level prosecutions and municipal legal practice. The combination of county and city roles gave him familiarity with local procedures and ordinance enforcement.
A year later he moved into private practice and into a leadership position. In 2009 he became managing partner at Rideout Law Group. Over time his practice developed around clients who need counsel in matters touching on criminal and municipal law. He has taken the administrative responsibilities that come with running a small firm while maintaining an active caseload.
Rideout is a member of several local bar organizations. He has belonged to the Mohave County Bar Association since 2006 and joined Arizona Lawyers for Criminal Justice in 2008. More recently he added membership in the Maricopa County Bar Association in 2022. These affiliations reflect the arc of his career across different Arizona jurisdictions and both public and private practice.
He is based in Arizona and lists Rideout Law PLLC as his current office. His work history — county lawyer, city prosecutor, firm manager — gives him a practical perspective on how municipal ordinances, prosecutions, and client representation intersect in local courts. He currently practices from Rideout Law PLLC handling matters that arise under Arizona law.
