About Daniel B.

Daniel B. Chartrand earned his law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law in 1975 after completing undergraduate studies in commerce at Saint Louis University in 1970. He built his legal foundation in St. Louis-area classrooms in the 1960s and 1970s, taking the formal steps required for a career in law and then entering practice in Missouri.

Early in his career he moved into private practice. He has spent decades working in the Missouri legal environment. Over that period he handled matters that arise in state courts and developed an understanding of the local procedural and substantive law that governs those proceedings.

Chartrand has maintained ties to professional organizations throughout his career. He holds current membership in bar and civic groups and has participated in the professional life of his community. That involvement has kept him connected to developments in law and to colleagues across the state.

His work life has been centered on client representation from an office setting. He practices at The Chartrand Law Office. From that base he has managed casework, client consultations and filings. The office serves individuals and entities that require legal services within Missouri.

Colleagues and clients have described him as steady and methodical in his approach to legal matters. He has relied on procedural knowledge and attention to factual detail when preparing matters for court. Over the years he has seen the practical effects of changes in state law and adjusted his practice procedures to reflect court rulings and statutory updates.

Outside of courtroom and office time he has kept ties to the local legal community through association membership and professional contact. Those connections have informed his understanding of practice norms and courtroom expectations in Missouri jurisdictions.

In recent years he has continued to represent clients from The Chartrand Law Office, handling matters that arise under Missouri law. He remains an active practitioner serving clients out of his St. Louis-area office and focuses his current practice on providing legal representation for matters brought in Missouri courts.
