About Bob
Bob Linhares has spent more than three decades working on legal matters across the Midwest. He arrived at the law after studying marketing at Rockhurst University, where he completed a Bachelor of Science in 1982. He then pursued legal studies at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law and earned his J.D. in 1988. Those years framed the start of a long career that bridges business and law.
Linhares built his practice in two neighboring jurisdictions. He is admitted to the bars of Missouri and Illinois. His background in marketing and business provided an early connection to clients who needed counsel that understood both commercial realities and courtroom procedure. He began practicing in the late 1980s and has remained active in private practice since.
Over time his work has reflected steady engagement with regional legal issues. He has taken on matters that require familiarity with state rules and the rhythms of litigation and transactional work in both states. He is known for a practical approach: identifying the legal questions, sorting through the options, and advising on possible paths forward. He writes and speaks plainly about legal choices so clients can make informed decisions.
Linhares is a partner at Rebman, Linhares & Beachem, P.C., where he shares responsibility for the firm’s caseload and client relationships. The firm serves clients in and beyond the immediate metropolitan area. At the office he manages files, mentors junior lawyers, and works directly with clients to outline strategy and next steps.
Colleagues describe Linhares as steady in the courtroom and exacting in preparation. He prefers a clear record to flashy arguments. That approach shows up in how he prepares for hearings and negotiates settlements. Clients who want straightforward assessments and a lawyer who will follow through find that approach helpful.
Outside of casework, Linhares’s earlier studies in marketing continue to inform how he communicates with clients and organizes outreach. He brings that perspective to client meetings and to the way the firm presents its services. He keeps current on rules and regional practice developments that influence litigation and transactional work in both states.
He practices at Rebman, Linhares & Beachem, P.C., handling matters in both Illinois and Missouri.
