About Bradley H.

Bradley H. Trushin built his career on steady practice and long-term ties to Florida law. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.S. in 1986 and earned his J.D. from the University of Florida in 1989. Those schools anchored the early arc of his legal training and set the stage for a practice that spans state and federal courts.

After law school, Trushin moved into private practice and rose through the ranks. He is now Senior Partner at Chepenik Trushin LLP. His work has taken him into federal courtrooms and appellate panels as well as state venues. He is admitted to practice in Florida and before the Supreme Court of Florida. His federal admissions include the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the Southern District of Florida, along with the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. He also holds admission to the 11th Circuit and the 3rd Circuit.

Colleagues describe him as steady and pragmatic. He has been active in bar governance. He served as chairman of a Florida Bar Grievance Committee and continues to serve as a member of that committee. He maintains memberships in the Florida Bar, including the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, and he belongs to both the Dade County and Broward County bar associations. He is a life member of the Gator Alumni Association.

The throughline of Trushin’s practice is litigation and counseling tied to property and fiduciary concerns. He handles cases that involve real property disputes, probate administration and trust matters. He works with a mix of clients, and his caseload includes contested proceedings and transactional work that touches on estate planning and property law.

In firm practice he combines courtroom work with the office tasks of managing complex files. As a senior partner he oversees litigation strategy and mentors younger attorneys at Chepenik Trushin LLP. His role involves courtroom appearances, appellate briefing and the review of estate and trust instruments. He is routinely involved in the procedural and ethical questions that arise in probate and trust disputes, as reflected in his work on the Florida Bar Grievance Committee.

Outside the office he remains connected to his alma mater and to local bar organizations. He attends bar functions, contributes to committee work and maintains the professional relationships that law practice requires. He currently practices at Chepenik Trushin LLP, where his work centers on real property, probate and trust matters.
