About Ashley S.

Ashley S. Nechemia built a dual academic foundation before she entered private practice. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from The George Washington University in 2011. Six years later she completed both a Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration at Rutgers School of Law–Camden and Rutgers University–Camden, respectively, in 2017. The combination of law and business study informs how she approaches legal problems.

After law school, Nechemia began her career at Sherman, Silverstein, Kohl, Rose & Podolsky, P.A. Her time at the firm provided exposure to a range of civil litigation matters. She has worked on cases that require attention to procedural detail and careful case management. Colleagues say she is methodical in preparing filings and practical when weighing litigation options.

Nechemia is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She holds current memberships in both state bars and participates in regional professional groups. Her involvement in South Jersey Women in Business places her among attorneys and business professionals who meet to discuss local economic and legal developments. That network has been a steady source of referrals and practical perspective on client issues.

Her practice includes civil litigation work and related counseling for businesses and individuals. She handles pretrial strategy, discovery disputes, and motion practice. She also assists clients in understanding risk and potential outcomes so they can make informed decisions about settlement or trial. Her business training often informs contract analysis and financial aspects of disputes.

Outside the courtroom, Nechemia spends time staying current on procedural rules and regional case law. She attends continuing legal education programs and contributes to internal firm training on procedural updates and litigation best practices. She prefers plainspoken explanations for clients and emphasizes clarity over legal jargon.

Peers describe her courtroom demeanor as calm and focused. She prepares witnesses thoroughly and treats opposing counsel with professional courtesy. That approach aims to keep the record clean and the case on track.

Today Nechemia continues her practice at Sherman, Silverstein, Kohl, Rose & Podolsky, P.A., where she manages litigation assignments and advises clients on civil disputes. Her current practice focuses on civil litigation and related business counseling.
