About Andrew
Andrew Rudolphi trained as a lawyer at The Catholic University of America, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 2008 and a Juris Doctor in 2013. He moved from student life into practice in Virginia, where his early legal education was followed quickly by courtroom work. The academic grounding was practical and deliberate, preparing him for criminal matters and litigation.
He spent a pivotal summer in 2012 as a summer associate at John Boneta & Associates PLLC. That experience led directly to a position at the same firm. In 2013 he joined John Boneta & Associates as a senior associate, handling trials, motions, and client counseling. The role put him into regular contact with judges, prosecutors, and police, and it shaped his approach to case preparation.
Outside the office he has taught. In 2018 he served as an instructor at the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy, working with recruits and veteran officers on legal topics. The classroom work required translating legal rules into practical steps for law enforcement and providing clear explanations of courtroom procedures. It also kept him current on changes in criminal procedure.
Since 2013 he has maintained memberships in several local and national organizations. He is a member of the Fairfax Bar Association and the Arlington Bar Association, and he belongs to the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Those memberships keep him involved in peer study, trial practice discussions, and continuing legal education. He also participates in bar activities that address court rules and local practice issues.
Rudolphi later established his own firm, Rudolphi Law PLLC, where he moved into a lead counsel role. At the firm he manages client intake, case strategy, and trial preparation. He appears in Virginia courts for arraignments, hearings, and jury trials. The transition from associate to firm principal changed his day-to-day duties, adding administrative responsibilities to his courtroom work.
His practice is framed by courtroom experience and practical instruction. He handles criminal defense matters and related litigation in Virginia courts, balancing trial work with case assessment and plea negotiations. He continues to teach and to participate in bar events while managing cases at Rudolphi Law PLLC, where his practice centers on criminal defense and trial representation.
