About Michael
Michael Eisner built his legal foundation at George Mason University School of Law, where he earned his J.D. He earlier completed undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Albany, receiving a B.A. Those classrooms set the stage for a practice anchored in the Mid-Atlantic courts.
After law school he took the bar exams required to practice and is admitted in both Virginia and the District of Columbia. Over the years he has handled matters that take him before state and local forums across the region. He has combined courtroom experience and client counseling in equal measure, adapting to the shifting demands of cases and regulatory inquiries.
His professional path led him to Northern Virginia Law Group, PLLC, where he is part of a team that serves individuals and organizations in the Washington area. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing files and clear when explaining options. He is known for managing complex stacks of documents and for setting realistic timelines for clients.
Eisner’s work often requires close attention to procedural rules in multiple jurisdictions. He navigates filings and hearings in Virginia courts and addresses administrative and litigation matters in the District of Columbia. That dual-admission lets him handle cross-jurisdictional issues without resorting to outside counsel for basic procedural tasks.
Beyond the courtroom, he spends time drafting briefs, negotiating settlements and meeting with clients to map out practical next steps. He balances casework with the paperwork that keeps a practice running. He also mentors junior attorneys and coordinates with experts when cases call for technical testimony.
He keeps ties to his alma maters and returns periodically for guest lectures and alumni events. Outside the office he follows developments in regional law and contributes to internal firm training sessions. He currently focuses his practice on matters arising in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
