Andrew Jackson is the founding partner of Jackson Law Group, located at 1301 Plantation Island Drive, Suite 304, in St. Augustine, Florida. Admitted to the Florida Bar in 2006, he has built a reputable practice specializing in tax law, estate planning, probate, and trust administration. His educational background is impressive—he earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Florida Coastal School of Law in the same year he was admitted to the bar. Following this achievement, he pursued a Master of Laws in Taxation at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, graduating in 2007. Before embarking on his legal career, Jackson graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hampden-Sydney College in 1999. This strong foundation in economics has greatly shaped his work in tax law and financial matters. Since establishing Jackson Law Group in 2007, he has consulted with over 7,500 prospective clients, showcasing his experience in the field.
His practice has expanded to include business law, probate and guardianships, and elder law, reflecting the diverse needs of the community he serves. Prior to founding his firm, Jackson worked working as Of Counsel for two attorneys in St. Augustine. During this time, he practiced in real estate, corporate law, and condominium and homeowners association law. His journey in the legal field began as a law clerk for these attorneys while attending law school. This gives a solid foundation in various legal practices. This diverse background gave him the skills necessary to manage a law firm with multiple practice areas effectively. Jackson is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Florida Bar's Tax Section and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section.
He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. His involvement in the legal community extends to local associations, such as the St. Johns County Bar Association and the Jacksonville Bar Association. Additionally, he is a Barrister of the St. Augustine Chapter of the American Inns of Court, reflecting his commitment to legal excellence and mentorship. Beyond his professional endeavors, Jackson is dedicated to community service.
He serves on the Professional Advisory Council of The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida and has previously chaired the Executive Committee of the St. Johns County Economic Development Council. His contributions to the community were recognized when he was named the St. Johns County Board of Realtors' 2019 Business Partner of the Year. Residing in St. Augustine Beach with his wife, Dilyn, and their two children, Jordan and Graham, he enjoys sports, fishing, and spending quality time with his family.
