About Allen
Allen Jones built a legal path that moves between national firms and military service. He combines a law degree with early technical and business training. The result is a practical approach to client work and courtroom procedure.
Jones earned his J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2007. Before law school he completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems at Brigham Young University in 2001 and an Associate of Applied Science in Business Management from Brigham Young University–Idaho in 1999. Those credentials provided a foundation in business and technology that has informed his later legal work.
He began his legal career as an associate at Bryan Cave LLP in 2007. That early stint at a national firm exposed him to multi-jurisdictional matters and the routines of large-firm practice. In 2011 he served as a judge advocate in the Army National Guard, performing legal duties for military personnel and the organization. He returned to private practice and later joined Polsinelli as an associate in 2015. In 2018 he accepted an associate position at Withers, Brant, Igoe & Mullennix, P.C., where he remains on the litigation and advisory team.
Across those roles he has worked on matters typical of sizeable law firms: transactional questions, compliance issues, and courtroom work. The combination of private firm assignments and JAG service means he is familiar with both civilian and military legal processes. He has handled client counseling, case preparation, and courtroom appearances in state courts that serve local and regional businesses.
Jones maintains bar membership in both Missouri and Kansas, and he remains active in local professional and civic groups. He is a current member of the Clay County Bar and participates in Kids for Kosovo, an organization that focuses on youth and community development. Those memberships reflect a sustained interest in local bar activities and community outreach beyond billable hours.
He is based at Withers, Brant, Igoe & Mullennix, P.C., where he handles matters arising in Missouri and Kansas. His current practice focuses on representing clients in state and regional disputes and advising on business-related legal issues in both jurisdictions.
