About Adam M.
Adam M. Lustberg built his legal foundation at Hofstra University and Seton Hall University School of Law. He earned a B.A. in political science from Hofstra in 2000 and completed his J.D. at Seton Hall in 2004. Those years framed his early interest in courtroom work and public-service lawyering.
His first post-law school position was as a law clerk in the Law Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey in 2004. The clerkship exposed him to trial procedures and courtroom decision-making. In 2005 he joined Connell Foley LLP as an associate, where he handled research, motion practice, and case preparation for trial teams. The work at a larger firm gave him experience on both the litigation and procedural sides of cases.
In 2008 Lustberg formed his own firm, Lustberg Law Offices, LLC. As owner he has run a small practice that manages client intake, case strategy, and courtroom appearances. Opening his own office shifted his responsibilities beyond casework to include firm management and client counseling. Over time he developed a practice style that blends courtroom readiness with hands-on client attention.
Lustberg is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York. He maintains memberships in several professional organizations, including the Bergen County Bar Association, the Hudson County Bar Association, the New Jersey Association for Justice, the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Those memberships reflect ongoing engagement with local and national professional communities and access to continuing legal education and peer resources.
Colleagues and clients describe him as methodical in preparing cases and direct in court. He draws on his clerkship background for case analysis and his time at a larger firm for procedural handling. He continues to take cases that require courtroom representation and trial work. Today he practices criminal defense in New Jersey and New York and manages cases through his firm, Lustberg Law Offices, LLC.
