About Aaron R.
Aaron R. Gott completed his undergraduate studies at Iowa State University in 2007 and earned his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 2013. He arrived in law school after several years that included service in the U.S. Army Reserve beginning in 2003. Those early experiences informed a steady trajectory into complex courtroom work and firm management.
After law school, Gott moved into private practice and by 2014 held the title of Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Bona Law PC. He has balanced leadership responsibilities inside the firm with courtroom appearances. The firm role has involved oversight of operational systems and collaboration on case strategy alongside trial teams.
Gott is admitted to practice in multiple state and federal jurisdictions. He maintains current membership in both the Minnesota State Bar and the California State Bar. His federal admissions include the U.S. Supreme Court and several federal circuits and district courts: the 4th, 8th, 9th and 10th Circuits; the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota; and the Southern, Northern and Central Districts of California. Those credentials allow him to litigate in a wide range of venues.
His record shows a lawyer who splits time between managing a law practice and appearing in court. He has experience preparing matters for federal appellate and district courts, and he handles procedural and substantive work that arises in multi-jurisdictional litigation. Colleagues describe his approach as methodical. He pays attention to deadlines and court rules, and he takes the administrative side of firm life seriously.
Gott’s professional memberships remain active in both Minnesota and California. He continues to maintain admissions to the federal courts listed above. He works from Bona Law PC and contributes to the firm’s caseload across the jurisdictions in which he is licensed. His current work involves litigating matters in the federal and state courts where he is admitted.
