About Yi-Hsuan Rachel
Yi-Hsuan Rachel Lin built a legal path that crosses two continents and several courtrooms. She earned a Bachelor of Laws at National Taipei University in 2002, then moved to the United States to pursue advanced legal study. Lin completed an LL.M. in U.S. Legal Studies at Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2004 and later returned to law school, receiving her J.D. from Southwestern Law School in 2015.
Her early career combined paralegal work and corporate human resources. In 2004 she worked as a paralegal at the Law Offices of Justin J. Shrenger. Later she handled human resources and served as a corporate paralegal at SEIKI Digital, Inc. in 2011. Those roles preceded a series of judicial and advocacy externships while she was in law school.
Lin gained courtroom perspective as a judicial extern to the Honorable Dean D. Pregerson at the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California in 2013. She followed that with externships in 2014 at the ACLU of Southern California and to the Honorable Goodwin Liu at the California Supreme Court. Those experiences exposed her to civil liberties matters, federal litigation, and appellate practice. After completing her J.D., she joined Clark Employment Law, APC as a lawyer in 2015.
Her bar memberships and professional associations reflect steady involvement in employment law circles and in broader bar activity. She holds membership in the State Bar of California and the New York State Bar Association. She is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association and the National Employment Lawyers Association. She also belongs to the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles and the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association.
Lin is admitted to practice in New York and California and before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Her work as an attorney has centered on employment-related matters, informed by both her practical experience in corporate settings and her time on judicial staffs. She combines courtroom exposure from federal and state externships with day-to-day experience representing clients.
She practices employment law at Clark Employment Law, APC, where she handles employment matters on behalf of clients.
