About William
William Alexander began his legal path after studying psychology at the University of Georgia, where he earned a B.S. in 2008. He stayed in-state for law school and received his J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law in 2012. Those academic steps set the stage for a steady progression through Georgia’s private bar.
He joined Boyd Collar Nolen & Tuggle, LLC as an associate in 2013. That role was his first full-time position after law school and offered early experience in firm-based practice. In 2016 he moved to Richardson Bloom & Lines LLC, again as an associate. Over the next several years he took on greater responsibility and in 2021 his title changed to partner at Richardson Bloom & Lines LLC. In 2022 he became affiliated with Bloom Lines Alexander LLC, where he is listed as a member.
Alexander maintains an active membership in the State Bar of Georgia. He has also completed the certification process to serve as a Guardian ad Litem through the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation. That credential has anchored part of his work and informs how he approaches cases that involve vulnerable parties.
Colleagues describe him as deliberate in the office and practical when meeting clients. His career path shows a traditional climb through associate roles into partnership and then into an ownership position. The shift from associate to partner came after several years of casework and client contact, followed by a move to a member role in the current firm structure in 2022.
Much of his professional time has been spent in private practice settings in Georgia. He has handled matters typical of small- to mid-size firm practice, including client counseling and courtroom work. His Guardian ad Litem certification has led to direct involvement in cases that require independent representation of vulnerable individuals.
Outside of casework he participates in the organizational life of the bar and in volunteer programs tied to the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation. That involvement aligns with his Guardian ad Litem role and connects firm work to community needs.
As of 2026 he practices at Bloom Lines Alexander LLC. He handles Guardian ad Litem matters and other client representation in Georgia as part of his current practice.
