About Whitney

Whitney Cameron graduated from The John Marshall Law School in 2014, earning her Juris Doctor after completing a curriculum that included courtroom procedure and dispute resolution. Her legal education was followed by hands-on experience in local courts. An early externship in Will County gave her time in chambers and exposure to judicial decision-making.

After law school she moved into roles that mixed support work and direct client service. In 2016 she worked as a legal assistant at Henderson Law and Mediation Center and that same year completed the Will County judicial externship. The next year she joined Henderson Law and Mediation Center as an associate lawyer. Those early positions placed her inside both negotiation settings and courtroom preparations, giving a practical counterpoint to the theory learned in law school.

Her training includes a Masters in Impairment and Mediation awarded by the Supreme Court of Illinois. That credential underlines an interest in resolving disputes without trial. It also reflects time spent learning assessment techniques for impairment issues and the formal processes that govern mediation in Illinois.

Cameron is active in professional circles. She holds memberships in the Illinois Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She is also a member of the Will County Women’s Bar Association. These affiliations have connected her to peers across the state and nationally, and have offered avenues for staying current on changes in procedure and ethics.

Colleagues describe her work as methodical. She prepares documents carefully and approaches negotiations in measured steps. She has handled client intake, legal research, and case management as part of her duties. Her experience bridges administrative support, courtroom exposure through an externship, and the responsibilities of an associate attorney.

Her practice sits at the intersection of mediation and traditional legal work. She has spent much of her career at Henderson & Mehta Law and Mediation Center and its predecessor practice names cited in her resume. Working at a firm that combines mediation services with legal representation has shaped how she manages cases — balancing settlement tools and courtroom options.

She is licensed to practice in Illinois and remains involved in local bar activities. She currently practices at Henderson & Mehta Law and Mediation Center, concentrating on mediation and related civil matters.
