About Adam

Adam Gynac built a legal path that begins in the Midwest classroom and leads to a private practice in Illinois. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, completing his undergraduate studies in 2000 after beginning in 1996. He returned to the state for law school and received his Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2008, following a course of study that began in 2005.

After law school, Gynac entered the Illinois legal community. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and has maintained an active presence in county bar associations around the state. His membership in the Will County Bar Association dates to 2008, and he joined the DuPage County Bar Association in 2013. Those affiliations reflect steady involvement in local legal circles and regular contact with other lawyers, judges, and court staff across multiple jurisdictions.

Gynac’s early years in practice combined courtroom work and client counseling. He spent time handling matters that required litigation preparation, pleadings and court appearances, balanced alongside transactional work and negotiations. Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in approach; he tends to prioritize clear legal analysis and practical options for clients over rhetorical flourishes.

At Granholm & Gynac LLC he works as part of a small firm environment. That setting has allowed him to manage a range of case types and client matters, often taking responsibility for both the strategic direction of a file and the day-to-day case management. The firm arrangement means he regularly coordinates with co-counsel and support staff while engaging directly with clients on case strategy and settlement discussions.

Outside the office, Gynac’s membership activity signals interest in staying current on procedural developments and in exchanging practical insights with peers. He has attended local bar events and continuing legal education programs relevant to practice in Will and DuPage counties. This engagement supports his work in Illinois courts and helps maintain familiarity with local rules and judges’ practices.

In his current practice at Granholm & Gynac LLC, Adam Gynac represents clients in matters brought in Illinois and continues to serve clients through litigation and transactional representation in the state.
