About Gregory
Gregory Reeder earned his law degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He completed the J.D. program there before beginning his legal career in Illinois courts. The academic training he received laid the groundwork for courtroom work and client counseling in both state and federal venues.
Early in his career Reeder established himself in local practice. He is admitted to the Illinois bar and to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Over time he has worked through matters that require appearances in state trial courts and in the federal district court that serves the Chicago area.
Reeder is a lawyer at Reeder & Brown, P.C., where he handles files, meets with clients and represents them at hearings and trials when necessary. His daily work combines case preparation, negotiating resolutions and courtroom advocacy. He applies procedural knowledge and practical judgment to the tasks of evidence gathering, motion practice and trial presentation. Colleagues describe him as someone who prefers direct handling of client matters rather than delegation of core tasks.
He maintains memberships in local bar groups. Reeder is a current member of the Will County Bar Association and the DuPage Bar Association. Those memberships keep him connected to developments in local court rules and to other lawyers in the region. He attends meetings and events to stay current on practice issues that affect litigants in both county courts and the federal system.
Clients and fellow attorneys turn to him for work that requires courtroom presence in northern Illinois. He routinely files and argues motions in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and appears before state judges across the jurisdiction. His practice involves the kind of procedural and advocacy work that comes with representing people and businesses in civil matters in local and federal court.
Outside of court, Reeder manages the business aspects of practice alongside casework. He oversees intake, client communication and the calendaring that keeps litigation on track. He continues to practice at Reeder & Brown, P.C., representing clients in matters in Illinois and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
