About V. Rick
V. Rick Nishanian earned his Juris Doctor from George Mason University in 1984. He completed his legal education during a period of rapid change in the legal profession, and his career spans the decades that followed. That year marked the start of a long association with the law.
After finishing law school, Nishanian entered private practice. Over time his name became associated with a regional firm, and he has practiced at Vanderpool, Frostick & Nishanian, P.C. for many years. The firm name reflects a longstanding relationship among lawyers who have worked together in the same office. His work has continued through shifting legal markets and changing client needs.
Across more than four decades in practice, Nishanian has handled a wide variety of legal tasks. He has represented clients in negotiations, prepared pleadings and briefs, and appeared in hearings and trials when cases required it. Colleagues and court records show a steady practice that has adapted as the law has evolved. He has also taken on advisory work for businesses and individuals requiring ongoing legal counsel.
