About Tyler

Tyler Pritchard took a conventional path into the law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa in 2008. He then attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, receiving his J.D. in 2012.

After law school he began building practical experience in firm settings. In 2015 he joined Hatcher, Stubbs, Land, Hollis & Rothschild, LLP as an associate. A year later he moved to Hall Booth Smith, PC, where he continued as an associate and expanded his courtroom and client-facing work. Those early years exposed him to a range of civil litigation matters and the day-to-day demands of trial preparation.

Pritchard’s career advanced to a leadership role in 2023 when he became a partner at Bodwell Injury Group. That position followed nearly a decade of practice and work inside mid-size law firms. The partner title reflects a shift from supporting roles to managing cases and mentoring younger lawyers. He has worked in both Alabama and Georgia jurisdictions and maintains ties to the legal communities in those states.

During law school he engaged with the American Journal of Trial Advocacy. That involvement signaled an early interest in trial work and evidence presentation. Colleagues note that he has kept those skills central to his practice, often handling hearings, depositions and courtroom matters.

Pritchard’s practice has emphasized client representation in injury-related claims. At Bodwell Injury Group he handles cases that require both negotiation and litigation skills. He spends time gathering factual records, preparing witnesses and presenting complex information in court when necessary. His work combines case analysis, procedural work and efforts to secure settlements when in clients’ interest to do so.

Outside the office he remains connected to the legal profession through contacts in both states where he is licensed. He keeps up with continuing legal education and stays engaged on trial advocacy topics he first explored in law school. He balances casework with supervisory duties at the firm and occasional mentoring of junior attorneys.

Today he is a partner at Bodwell Injury Group, licensed in Georgia and Alabama, and practices primarily in personal injury matters while handling litigation from intake through resolution.
