About Mark A

Mark A Casto trained first as an undergraduate at Western Carolina University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in 1992. He went on to the University of Akron School of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 1996. Those credentials provided the foundation for a practice that has centered on injury law and courtroom work for many years.

After law school he established a practice in Georgia. He is admitted to practice in the state of Georgia and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. That combination of state and federal admission allows him to handle cases from initial filings through appellate matters when necessary. Over time he built a practice that emphasizes litigation and client representation in civil claims.

Much of his professional life has been spent handling personal injury matters. His office name reflects that focus: he operates the Mark Casto Personal Injury Law Office. The firm handles standard elements of injury litigation, including case intake, investigation, negotiations with insurers and trial work when settlements are not reached. He encounters the full range of issues that arise in injury cases, from evidence gathering to witness preparation.

Casto maintains active professional memberships. He participates in organizations that support legal practice and continuing education, and he keeps current on developments that affect civil litigation and trial procedure. That ongoing involvement helps him stay familiar with changes in rules, precedent and courtroom practice that can influence case strategy.

Clients and colleagues describe him as a lawyer who spends significant time on case preparation. Courtroom appearances and depositions are regular parts of his work. He aims to present factual records clearly and to press legal arguments where he believes they will serve a client’s interests. He has handled matters through settlement negotiations and at trial, and he has the ability to take appeals to the Eleventh Circuit when necessary.

Outside of direct case work, his practice involves typical office management responsibilities for a small firm: client intake, case supervision and coordination with experts and investigators. He has structured his office to support individual clients through the lifecycle of an injury claim. He focuses his practice on personal injury matters.
