About Tyler J.
Tyler J. Burrell entered the legal world after a steady run of academic and civic work. He earned a B.S. in Business Management from Rowan University in 2017, completed a Certificate in Politics at the University of Pennsylvania in 2020, and received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2021. Those credentials frame a career that moves between municipal service and firm practice.
His earliest public role came in Delran Township, where he served as Councilman At-Large and was President of Council in 2017. The council position placed him in the center of local governance and municipal decision-making. At the same time he gained practical legal exposure as a law clerk at McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C., beginning a relationship with the firm that would continue after law school.
After graduating from Penn Law, Burrell joined McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C. in a dual capacity. In 2021 he took on responsibilities as an associate and also served as Chief Operating Officer. His work blended administrative oversight with the day-to-day tasks of a practicing attorney. The combination of roles required attention to office management as well as client matters handled by the firm.
Burrell is licensed to practice in New Jersey. His legal practice is rooted in the state where he has lived and worked. He handles matters that arise in New Jersey courts and coordinates with colleagues across the firm’s offices. Details on specific case types are handled through the firm’s intake process rather than set out here.
Colleagues note that Burrell brings a practical bent to his work. His municipal experience informs conversations about local government issues and regulatory matters. At the firm he has been involved in streamlining operations and supporting attorneys in preparing cases, balancing administrative tasks with legal responsibilities.
He continues to practice at McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C., drawing on both his municipal background and his law school training. He practices in New Jersey and his current practice concentrates on matters in New Jersey state courts.
