About Tori L.
Tori L. Stenbak studied film before she became a lawyer. She earned a B.A. in Film Studies from Keene State College in 1995 and returned to New England for law school, receiving her J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law in 2002. The shift from film to law shaped an analytical style that shows in her later courtroom and office work.
Her first court-side experience came while still a student. In 2004 she served as a student lawyer in the Cumberland County District Lawyer’s Office. That role gave her early exposure to client interviews, courtroom procedure and the pacing of public-sector practice. The hands-on training that year preceded a steady move into private practice.
In 2005 Stenbak joined Chadbourne Law Offices, P.A. as an associate. There she worked on a variety of matters and gained practical experience in case preparation and client advocacy. Colleagues from that period describe her as methodical and thorough. The associate years were a time of steady professional development and growing responsibility.
Three years later she launched her own firm. In 2008 she became owner and lawyer at Stenbak Law Offices, P.A. Running a small practice required a different set of skills. She managed client relations, docketing and the business side of legal work while continuing to handle cases. The practice reflected a move toward independent case management and direct client service.
In 2017 she joined PallaSinclair Law Offices as a lawyer. That move placed her back in a collaborative firm environment. It also broadened the contexts in which she practiced. Over time she balanced courtroom appearances with file management and client counseling, drawing on both her early public-sector experience and years as a firm owner.
Stenbak is licensed to practice in Maine and has spent her career working in that jurisdiction. Her path from film student to lawyer is one of practical shifts rather than headline-grabbing moments. She currently practices at PallaSinclair Law Offices, where she handles a range of legal matters for clients in Maine.
