About Timothy

Timothy Reeb took a traditional path into law but has carved a steady professional presence in Illinois courts. He earned his undergraduate degree at DePaul University in 2003 and returned to school a few years later. He graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2010, where he finished near the top of his class.

After law school, Reeb entered private practice and built experience across state and federal matters. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the Federal Circuit. Early in his career he joined local and state bar groups and has maintained those ties ever since. His membership in the Illinois Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association and American Bar Association dates from 2010, and he joined the Will County Bar Association in 2013.

Reeb’s work spans litigation and appellate matters. He has handled cases that required filings in state courts and matters that reached federal appellate review. He is comfortable in both settings. His day-to-day practice requires drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and arguing motions. He also prepares briefs for appeals and handles the procedural tasks that follow complex litigation.

Colleagues describe him as methodical. He breaks down issues into discrete steps and addresses them one at a time. That approach has shaped his courtroom style. He favors clear, direct presentation of facts and law. He does not court theatrics. Instead, he emphasizes organization and preparation.

Outside of active casework, Reeb stays engaged through professional associations. He has been a member of the American Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association since 2010. He also keeps ties to the Illinois Bar Association and the Will County Bar Association. Those memberships help him track rule changes and court developments that affect his clients’ cases.

Reeb practices at Reich, Jumbeck, Stole & Reeb, where he handles a range of matters in both state and federal forums. He maintains an active litigation docket and routinely manages cases from pretrial through appeal. He continues to work in Illinois courts and before the Federal Circuit, focusing his practice on litigation and appellate work.
