About Timothy P.

Timothy P. Daniels built a law career that moves from public administration to the bench of military service and into private practice. He earned a Master of Public Administration in 2001 and a Juris Doctor in 2004, both from Brigham Young University. Those two degrees set the foundation for a practice grounded in public service and legal process.

After law school, Daniels entered active duty as a Judge Advocate General for the U.S. Air Force. He joined the JAG Corps in 2004 and spent his early legal years advising commanders, handling military justice matters and working on administrative issues that demanded discipline and attention to procedure. That service shaped how he approaches facts and clients now: precise, methodical, and pragmatic.

Daniels later moved into civilian practice and established Tim Daniels Law Services. His work has included estate planning and related probate matters. He has also been involved in adoption-related issues, reflecting a mix of private legal work and community-oriented cases. He represents a range of clients on legal plans, document drafting and proceedings that follow after a loved one’s death or when families seek to formalize parental relationships.

Professional involvement has remained part of Daniels’ routine. He is admitted to practice in Utah and holds memberships in the Utah State Bar’s Estate Planning Law Section, where he has been listed since 2015. He has been part of the Utah Association for Justice’s Education Committee since 2012, contributing to continuing legal education and practical training for lawyers in the state. His membership in the Utah Adoption Council dates to 2019 and continues today, reflecting sustained interest in that subject area. He was also listed with a regional estate planning council in southern Utah from 2015 to 2017.

His background extends beyond law. As a youth he was involved with the Boy Scouts of America from 1984 to 1991. That early community engagement and his later public service in the Air Force inform how he frames client work now. He tends to emphasize clear explanation over legal jargon and to break complex procedures into manageable steps for clients.

Daniels maintains an active practice through Tim Daniels Law Services. He continues to balance estate planning and probate work with adoption matters, providing counsel and documents for families and individuals navigating those legal processes. He currently focuses his practice on estate planning and adoption matters.
