About T. Matthew
T. Matthew Bradley built his legal foundation at the University of South Carolina. He earned a B.A. in 1998 and returned to Columbia for law school, receiving his J.D. in 2002. Those years set the stage for a courtroom-centered career. He added federal admissions later, qualifying to appear before the Fourth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, alongside practice in state court.
Bradley began his post-law school career in public service. In 2005 he joined the Tenth Circuit Solicitor’s Office as an assistant solicitor. That role put him in front of juries and judges and provided early trial experience. He then moved into private practice. By 2011 he was on the roster at Harbin & Burnett, LLP, where he carried cases for clients across a range of disputes.
In 2019 he took a new step and became a partner at Bradley & Perkins, LLC. The change reflected years of courtroom work and a transition to running a practice of his own. At the firm he shares responsibility for case strategy, client counseling, and trial preparation. His background in the solicitor’s office informs how he approaches investigations and witness preparation.
Bradley holds memberships in several professional organizations. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar and participates in the Anderson County Bar. He also belongs to groups oriented toward trial practice, including the South Carolina Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, the National Trial Lawyers, and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Those affiliations keep him connected to developments in litigation practice and trial advocacy.
Colleagues describe Bradley as someone who prefers the work itself to the spotlight. He spends long hours in court preparation and in discovery. He is comfortable at the lectern during jury selection and in the pages of appellate briefs when cases move beyond the trial court. His practice spans both state and federal forums and includes matters that reach the federal district and circuit levels.
He maintains an active calendar of cases through Bradley & Perkins, LLC. His current practice focuses on litigation in state and federal courts, where he continues to handle trials and contested matters for clients.
