About Steve

Steve Samples took a steady, methodical route into the law. He earned his J.D. from Baylor Law School in 1999 after completing undergraduate and graduate work at Texas A&M. He holds a Bachelor of Science (1982) and an MBA (1986) from Texas A&M University, degrees that preceded his decision to pursue legal training.

His academic record reflects an interest in both technical analysis and business. Those dual disciplines show up in the way he approaches cases. He looks for data and then tests it in the courtroom. That habit has shaped a litigation practice rooted in civil trials and personal injury disputes.

Samples is licensed to practice in Texas and has built his career in that state. Over the years he moved into plaintiff-side personal injury work and focused on contested cases that require courtroom advocacy. He has experience taking cases through depositions, motion practice and trial. He represents clients in state courts across Texas and handles the procedural work that complex injury claims demand.

He is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. That credential signals sustained courtroom work and testing by peers. It is one of the defining professional milestones for an attorney who spends a large portion of practice time in jury trials and civil bench proceedings.

Before entering law school, Samples spent years at Texas A&M. The combination of a technical bachelor’s degree and an MBA informs how he evaluates damages, assesses economic loss and prepares experts. He brings that background into strategy sessions and into negotiations. Colleagues note that he organizes case materials in a way that highlights financial elements as clearly as the medical and factual records.

He maintains memberships in professional legal organizations and keeps active on matters affecting trial practice. His office is based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, where he practices under the name DFW Personal Injury Lawyers - Samples Ames. He handles personal injury litigation, from initial case assessment through trial and post-trial proceedings, representing injured plaintiffs in Texas courts.

He currently practices at DFW Personal Injury Lawyers - Samples Ames, handling personal injury cases in Texas.
