About Stephen Paul
Stephen Paul Freccero is a judge serving in the Marin County Superior Court in California. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Edmund G.
Brown Jr. in November 2015.
Prior to his appointment, Judge Freccero was a partner at Morrison & Foerster LLP in San Francisco, where he specialized in civil litigation, including business disputes, intellectual property, energy litigation, and antitrust cases. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 1987, and a Master of Laws from the European University Institute in 1994.
He also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University, obtained in 1980. Judge Freccero is admitted to practice law in California and has been serving as a judge since 2015.
