About Dannielle

Dannielle Campbell trained in classrooms and courtrooms on San Francisco Bay. She earned a J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2011 after completing undergraduate work in political science at San Francisco State University. Her academic record set a steady course into public service and family law.

Early in her career Campbell held administrative roles that put her inside law offices and local campaigns. She was an assistant office manager and campaign clerk in 2007, then worked as a legal assistant and law office manager for Wald Law Group in 2008. Those roles were practical primer for the legal training that followed.

Campbell moved into clerkships and courtroom-facing work as she finished law school. In 2012 she served as a student law clerk at the California Appellate Project. The following year she worked as a State Bar certified law clerk for the Solano County Public Defender, where she handled research and case preparation in criminal defense files.

After bar-related clerkships, Campbell entered firm practice. In 2014 she joined Johnston, Kinney & Zulaica LLP as an associate. She later returned to family law practice in 2019 with positions at both Moradi Saslaw LLP and Burke Family Law. In 2020 she began an of counsel role at Putterman Yu, and that arrangement has been part of her recent professional portfolio.

Her involvement extends beyond client work. Campbell has been active in local professional groups. She has been a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco Barrister’s Club since 2015 and joined the San Francisco Lawyers Club Inn of Court in 2019. She is also involved in the Professional Women’s Network and has served on its board since 2016.

In 2023 Campbell returned to the classroom as an adjunct professor at the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco. She teaches courses that draw on her experience in litigation and family law practice and brings practical examples into the seminar room.

Campbell is licensed to practice in California and has balanced public-sector clerkships, firm work, and teaching across her career. She currently practices as Of Counsel at Putterman Yu LLP, where her work centers on family law and appellate matters.
