About Stacy F.

Stacy F. Kroustalis earned her Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law in 2014. She completed the academic work that prepared her for bar admission and early practice in the years that followed. Her legal education included coursework and clinic experiences common to lawyers who move into family law practice.

Early in her career Kroustalis became active in the local legal community. In 2015 she served as Vice Chair of the Family Law Section of the Greensboro Bar Association. That leadership role put her in regular contact with fellow practitioners and judges and involved coordinating the section's activities during a year of transition for many local firms.

Colleagues describe Kroustalis as pragmatic in approach. She handles the everyday contours of family law practice: negotiating settlements, preparing court filings and advising clients on options that affect parenting time and financial arrangements. She has spent time assembling the kinds of casework common to family law, from initial filings through disposition. Her work requires attention to detail and steady communication with clients during often stressful moments.

Kroustalis has also taken part in the professional life of the bar beyond her vice chairmanship. Participation in the Family Law Section has kept her engaged with continuing education and local practice trends. Those activities are practical in nature: learning changes in statutes, discussing courtroom procedure and sharing approaches that other lawyers have used in similar cases.

Her courtroom appearances and client work reflect the practical demands of family law in the Greensboro area. She moves between negotiation, drafting and litigation depending on what each case requires. That flexibility is reflected in how she prepares clients for hearings and settlement talks, and how she shapes pleadings and agreements when disputes do not resolve.

As of 2026 Kroustalis remains active in family law practice in the Greensboro community. She concentrates her practice on family law matters, handling cases that involve divorce, child custody and related financial issues.
